Community | Connection | Collaboration

There is something powerful that happens when a group gather together for a shared purpose and aligned intentions.  This collective energy creates a profound and transformative experience.

Why?

Well, many of us don’t have enough real-life compassionate witnesses in our lives.  This retreat provides a unique opportunity for genuine body-to-body connection and a felt-sense of support, fostering emotional attunement and co-regulation.  Within this safe space, shame starts to dissolve and is replaced with compassion and curiosity.  We realise that we are not alone with our experiences, emotions &  stress responses.

ALL nervous system states are welcomed at this retreat.  This is a safe space free from toxic positivity, competition, comparison and the ‘hustle’ culture!

Follow-Up Resource

To foster ongoing co-regulation, support and connection, participants will be invited to join a private Facebook group, offering a safe space for any additional assistance.  Michelle will facilitate an online follow-up session one week after the retreat, ensuring a check-in and providing any necessary additional support that is required.  This initiative aims to extend the retreat’s benefits beyond its duration.

Who is this Retreat for?

Anyone who has tried positive mindset, affirmations and other healing approaches but still feels stuck.  Perhaps you know your patterns but don’t know how to change them!

Anyone who wishes to explore embodiment, deepen their relationship with their nervous system and their somatic self.

All levels of embodiment and awareness are welcomed.  Whether you are a seasoned therapist or just starting out on your embodiment journey, you will benefit from the retreat.

Who is this Retreat not for?

Anyone who is currently in crisis or experiencing any intense mental health challenges.  This retreat won’t provide you with the support you deserve.  Please seek out professional support either from Michelle or another trained professional.

Is the lunch vegetarian and plant based?

No!  We believe in choice.  As we are a trauma-informed retreat, choice and consent is at the heart of our offering.  That means you get to decide whether you eat meat, fish, vegetarian, or vegan.  Corrymeela caters for all dietary requirements.  We will be in touch prior to the retreat to confirm your dietary requirements.

What do I need to bring with me?

Anything that supports you to feel more at ease and comfortable.  So that might be your favourite blanket, slippers, fluffy socks, etc.  We will supply you with a handbook, notepad and pen.

What time should I arrive?

We are opening registration at 9.30am to allow everyone 30-mins to arrive and get settled.  The programme will start at 10am.  We will have a morning and afternoon break.  Lunch is served at 1pm.
