A Unique Retreat Experience
Regulating | Restful | Restorative
This depth-based retreat offers a unique fusion of nervous system education, somatics, and embodiment to enhance your overall wellbeing. Nestled in the serene coastal setting of Corrymeela in Ballycastle, it provides a profound opportunity to step away from the stressors of daily life and focus within.
Expect a day of retreating inwards, noticing what’s needed for nourishment, growth, healing and the evolution of your life purpose. We will celebrate creativity, pleasure, movement, feminine energy, our animal body for healthy boundaries, and the beautiful Earth of Corrymeela, Ballycastle, where we will be held and supported.
Immerse yourself in the therapeutic embrace of nature and your nervous system to foster healing and self-discovery.
The retreat has been carefully crafted with a thoughtful pace and rhythm, encompassing the following:
• Nervous system education to deepen your cognitive awareness
• Experiential practices for safety and to expand your nervous system capacity
• Creative and sensory exercises that cultivate joy and playfulness
• Somatic movements for energy, strength, and healthy boundaries
• Techniques for self-soothing and self-compassion
• Meditation for clarity and comfort
• Embodied relaxation for rest and restoration
• Time and space for self-reflection and personal enquiry
• Mindful walks in nature
• Wholesome lunch
• Tea/coffee/refreshments and snacks
This curated experience aims to connect you with your body’s innate wisdom while providing a tranquil space for your holistic wellbeing.
Community | Connection | Collaboration
There is something powerful that happens when a group gather together for a shared purpose and aligned intentions. This collective energy creates a profound and transformative experience.
Why?
Well, many of us don’t have enough real-life compassionate witnesses in our lives. This retreat provides a unique opportunity for genuine body-to-body connection and a felt-sense of support, fostering emotional attunement and co-regulation. Within this safe space, shame starts to dissolve and is replaced with compassion and curiosity. We realise that we are not alone with our experiences, emotions & stress responses.
ALL nervous system states are welcomed at this retreat. This is a safe space free from toxic positivity, competition, comparison and the ‘hustle’ culture!
Follow-Up Resource
To foster ongoing co-regulation, support and connection, participants will be invited to join a private Facebook group, offering a safe space for any additional assistance. Michelle will facilitate an online follow-up session one week after the retreat, ensuring a check-in and providing any necessary additional support that is required. This initiative aims to extend the retreat’s benefits beyond its duration.
